Over the last four years, Giraldo Rosales has had the pleasure of serving as your Champaign City Council Member at-large. Currently, Rosales is looking forward to sitting on Champaign County's Board representing District 6.
Rosales is a dedicated, tenacious, committed public servant who will represent all of Champaign's District 6 constituents. Since becoming the first Latino elected official in Downstate Illinois, Rosales found the role of a politician is not always a popular one.
"I believe in achieving balance throughout the city, the county and the state--not only in the representation among public officials, but also in the agenda that is represented by them."
